South Carolina Arts Alliance executive director, George Patrick “GP” McLeer, was recently named to the State Arts Action Network Council (SAAN). The SAAN is a national network of arts advocacy organizations and is a program of Americans for the Arts, the national arts service and advocacy organization.
GP was elected by his peers to serve on the Council for SAAN, which sets priorities for the national network and helps advise Americans for the Arts on national advocacy strategies.
