Membership is a reciprocal relationship. We rely on our members to be active arts advocates, and in return we promise to deliver quality leadership opportunities, reliable information, and adequate advocacy resources.

Lead Advocate

Armed with insider knowledge and discounted (or free) leadership development opportunities through our CreativeSC program, our Lead Advocates are our star players when it comes to raising a voice for the arts at home and across the state, all for just $5 a month!
$5/month ($60/year) gets you all of this:
- “Advocate” benefits.
- Join an alliance of arts advocates across the state.
- Discounts (sometimes 100%) for CreativeSC workshops / seminars / forums.
- Legislative Updates direct from the SC Arts Alliance during the Statehouse session (January – June).
- Early access tickets for SC Arts Advocacy Day and other events.
- Receive our Annual Report (electronically or hard-copy by request).
- Automatic Renewal, so you don’t have to worry about getting that pesky reminder email from us. (Monthly payments only)

Creative Partner
Empower Your Office.
There are two ways to become a Creative Partner: Membership and Sponsorship.
Membership
Whether you’re a nonprofit arts organization, a for-profit creative company, a government office, or a school district, your employees can be powerful advocates for our industry. Creative Partner memberships extend all “Lead Advocate” perks to every full-time employee in your office.
Creative Partner memberships are based on the number of full-time employees. For government departments or educational institutions, it is based on the number of full-time employees in the arts or cultural department as decided by your administration.
As a Creative Partner, EVERY Employee gets:
- “Lead Advocate” benefits for each Full-Time Employee.
As a Creative Partner, Your Company Gets:
- Join an alliance of arts advocates across the state.
- Opportunities to host CreativeSC events for SCAA members (including “Lunch & Learns”).
- Opportunities to participate in SC Arts Advocacy Week activities.
- Ability to be highlighted in our Annual Report (only SCAA members can be highlighted).
- Your logo or organization name featured on the SCAA Website.
- SCAA Logo for your website.

Sponsorship
If sponsoring an event or program is a better fit for your organization or company – no worries, we got you covered!
Sponsorships include a partial tax-deductible contribution and help underwrite the costs of our programs. These are flat rates and are handled personally with our staff.

- Board of Directors Meetings
- CreativeSC Events (single event or program-wide sponsorships available)
