The largest gathering for creative professionals in South Carolina is back in Columbia February 8-9, 2022!
Registration is now open for you to join your fellow advocates for two days of learning, networking, and advocating at the Columbia Museum of Art and the SC Statehouse.
Tuesday, February 8
Tuesday’s sessions will cover a range of topics from arts education policy, to an overview on the first-ever anti-poverty agenda in SC and how the arts can intersect, to our annual Policy Briefing. We are also excited to host our Creative Gathering that evening, offering up a great chance to network and catch up with your colleagues.
We are excited to announce that during our Creative Gathering on February 8 at the Columbia Museum of Art, we will be presenting SC Superintendent of Education, Molly Spearman, with our coveted Scottie Award. You can read more about the award and the Superintendent here.
Wednesday, February 9
Join your fellow advocates for an early breakfast at the Statehouse where you’ll be able to share a meal with Legislators as they arrive for the day and head out to their meetings. You’ll then gather with other advocates from your region of the state and visit with legislators in their office or around the Statehouse. We’ll cap off the day with a student performance on the front steps of the Statehouse.
