Today, Second Lady Karen Pence announced that her chosen platform will be raising awareness for art therapy in the United States.
A former elementary school teacher, Second Lady Pence also has a Masters degree in Art Education. While First Lady of Indiana, Mrs. Pence was a vocal advocate for the art therapy field.
In her announcement video posted on the White House website, she announced that her official platform will continue to be in support of art therapy, this time across the entire country.
