Everyone agrees – creativity is an important skill students need to learn in school. Employers value it as one of the top qualities they look for, and the state of South Carolina even included creative qualities in the Profile of the SC Graduate which was made law a few years ago. But how do you get teachers, in all content areas, prepared to engrain creativity into their lessons? In this episode, we sit down with Kim Wilson of the Arts in Basic Curriculum Project to talk about how professional development opportunities, school cultures, and teacher education can help teachers weave creativity into their classroom.
