Join the SC Arts Alliance and the College of Charleston School of the Arts for the opening day of Spoleto Festival USA! Hosted by Dean Valerie Morris, this reception is open to all creative professionals and arts lovers to help kick off one of the largest arts festivals in South Carolina. This is the first “Creative Gathering” from the SC Arts Alliance, a series of networking events for creative professionals held around the state.
The Halsey Insitute for Contemporary Art will also be open for attendees during this time at no charge.

This event is being held in lieu of the SC Arts Alliance’s Annual Meeting Luncheon, which has been hosted most years on this day. Beginning in 2019, the SCAA’s Annual Meeting has been moved to February during Arts Advocacy Day. No SCAA business will be conducted / voted on during this event.
