Guest parking is not available in the SCAC lot. Event attendees must find alternative parking spaces on nearby streets, parking garages or parking lots. Meters are overseen by the City of Columbia and garages/lots are privately owned. If you are in need of handicap parking or have mobility issues, please notify us at least 48 hours prior so accommodations can be made.

• Metered parking on Sumter Street & Senate Street
• Paid parking lot behind building (entrance is off Senate Street)
• Additional parking in various garages downtown will require a short walk.
• Participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow for time to park.

Legislative Day – February 12

All Legislative Day events will take place on the State House Grounds.

• Parking is not available on State House grounds. Typically, parking is allowed along Sumter Street for school buses and vans. Private vehicles must use metered spaces near the State House.
• Parking is also typically available in city garages a short walk away. The closest garages are on Lady Street, Washington Street, and the corner of Pendleton and Park Streets. View a garage map here >>
